VACANCY: Junior Theater & Musicals Agent (Freelance)

Freelance: 

Salary: 10% commission from bookings.

Base: London

ANC is a newly established talent agency representing emerging and established actors across film, TV, commercials, digital media and theater.

Looking for a Junior Theater & Musicals Agent to join ANC on a freelance, self-employed basis. This role would suit someone with a passion for theater who is looking to gain hands-on experience in talent representation and grow within an agency environment.

Initially, you will assist with submissions, client support and day-to-day agency duties across our existing clients. Over time, you will have the opportunity to build and develop your own roster.

Role Responsibilities

• Support existing clients with submissions and general representation.

• Submit clients for suitable theater, musical theater and live performance opportunities.

• Assist with career guidance and day-to-day talent management.

• Communicate with casting directors, producers and industry professionals.

• Help identify new talent for the agency.

• Keep up to date with casting opportunities and industry developments.

• Contribute ideas and support the growth of the agency.

• Gradually build and manage your own theater and musical theater roster.

• A genuine interest in theater and musical theater.

• Flexible and committed. Someone who has plenty of time during the day to pitch actors.

• Good knowledge of the UK theater industry.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Reliable, professional and proactive.

• Confidence working independently and managing your workload.

• Good people skills and an eye for talent.

• Willingness to learn and develop as an agent.

• Previous agency or industry experience is welcomed but not essential.

Contract Type

• Freelance / Self-Employed (not an employee position).

• Remote work (must be London based for regular meetings).

• Commission-based structure.
